New Opportunity Alert: Climate Policy Innovators Youth Camp 2025 🌍

Are you a young changemaker in Asia and the Pacific, passionate about tackling climate change and shaping sustainable futures? Here’s your chance to shine! The Climate Policy Innovators Youth Camp 2025 is calling for applications from motivated youth eager to make a difference.

This transformative event, happening from 10-12 February 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand, will empower participants with knowledge, skills, and networks to lead impactful climate actions.

Why Youth Participation in Climate Policies Matters

Young people are at the forefront of the climate movement, demanding action and accountability from global leaders. Yet, their voices are often underrepresented in policy-making processes. This camp bridges that gap by equipping youth with the tools to influence National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs)—key frameworks driving global and local climate action.

What’s in Store: Camp Highlights

Participants will engage in interactive modules designed to deepen their understanding and strengthen their roles as climate leaders. Key sessions include:

Global and Regional Contexts of Climate Change – Understand the big picture of climate issues and solutions.
Children, Youth, and Women in NAPs and NDCs – Explore how vulnerable groups can play a pivotal role in shaping policies.
Youth in Climate Action – Learn how youth-led initiatives drive change.
Youth in Shaping New Ambitions – Discover ways to influence ambitious climate goals.
Hands-on Training – Gain practical skills for advocacy and action.
Futures Thinking – Develop innovative approaches to envision a sustainable future.

Who Should Apply?

This camp is open to Asia-Pacific youth, especially those actively involved in national or local climate initiatives. The organizers strongly encourage applications from individuals representing vulnerable groups, including women, indigenous communities, and marginalized populations.

Funding Support

Twenty youth participants from the following countries will receive funding support:

Bangladesh, Indonesia, Mongolia, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Pakistan, Philippines, Samoa, Vanuatu, and Viet Nam.

Applications are also welcome from self-funded participants across the region.
