Startup Opportunity for Women Entrepreneurs in Nepal: Join the AWE Bootcamp & Mentorship Program
KATHMANDU – Women entrepreneurship in Nepal is on the rise, and now there is a transformative opportunity for aspiring and established female entrepreneurs to take their businesses to new heights. Impact Initiative Nepal (IIN), in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy Nepal, is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the Academy of Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) Bootcamp and Mentorship Program. This startup opportunity in Nepal is aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs in Nepal and fostering the growth of their businesses with world-class mentorship, training, and networking opportunities.
The six-month hybrid program kicks off with a 3-day residential bootcamp, followed by an intensive mentorship phase designed to help women entrepreneurs scale and sustain their businesses. This program is a golden opportunity for women who want to take their startups in Nepal to the next level and is tailored to provide them with the essential tools, resources, and support needed to succeed.
Program Highlights:

Eligibility Criteria for Women Entrepreneurs in Nepal:
The AWE program is open to women entrepreneurs who meet the following criteria:
- Age and Experience: Women entrepreneurs aged 40 or younger with at least three years of entrepreneurial experience.
- Business Leadership: Businesses that are led by women or have a majority-female founding team, with at least three years of registered operation.
- Business Operations: The business must be active and operational across urban and rural areas of Nepal, with a focus on the Kathmandu Valley districts (Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur).
- Commitment: Applicants must be able to participate in the full program duration from March 2025 to August 2025.
IIN strongly encourages women from historically marginalized groups, including Dalit, Madhesi, indigenous, and LGBTQI+ women, to apply.
How to Apply:
Interested applicants should create a Google Drive folder containing the following documents:
- Business registration documents and identification of business owners/founders.
- Audited financial statements for the past three years.
- A two-minute video (in English) addressing their aspirations, innovative solutions, and long-term business vision.
The link to the Google Drive folder must then be submitted through the online Google Form.
